Blogger.com FTP change!

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of PostTwo. All opinions are 100% mine. Read my disclosure.

I was browsing opportunities to promote my blog on SocialSpark.com and I came across one for a website called PostTwo.com. It mentioned something about Blogger making a change that would impact many of its users. Well, as you can tell, I'm a user! I perked up my ears.

Apparently blogger is making a change that could impact me very much! I don't know what it does, I don't know what it means, and I don't know if I will be effected, but I think I will be. If this is any way shape or form makes my blog even slightly less adorable, I am going to be SO ANGRY.

I'm not stupid! Really! But one thing that I have never understood is FTP. Maybe I am alone in this, but I can't wrap my head around it and I can't figure it out. I can't even describe how it is supposed to work in theory! I found a page run by the blogger.com team here. This FAQ page talks a bunch of computer talk... and by computer talk, I mean that it could only be understood by someone who has robot dreams and writes memos to themselves in binary code. The one question that I had, wasn't answered here at all, "does this effect me?"

From what I could gather, if it will effect you, you will know. But what if I don't know? What if I log onto blogger on May 1st, 2010 and I can't work my own blog? I'm a little panicky; its true. There was a video on the PostTwo website that I watched. While it didn't tell me anything about FTP it did look very interesting. The front page promises to make me a "better blogger". After watching the video about how their little dealy thing works, I think it's true. SOLD.
